The Story of Bon Acre Home Goods
Bon Acre Home Goods Is a family artistic home goods shop located in Central Florida.
The story of Charcuterie boards and tables: the tree matters.

At their home in Illinois in 2010, Rob and Annette had to cut down an aged walnut tree that was leaning dangerously between two houses. They saw value in the wood.

Annette's uncle ran a sawmill, so he cut dozens of walnut boards from those logs. The true purpose of those boards would be realized a couple of years after Rob and Annette relocated to Florida. Twelve years after the end of a great tree was the beginning of artistic and functional creations that showcased the tree's beauty.

In Florida, 2022, Rob and Annette noticed a dead camphor tree in their subdivision. Research about the camphor wood confirmed that its anti-microbial properties would make this wood ideal for use as cutting and charcuterie boards.

The Bon Acre Home Goods business was born -- high-quality wood, craftsmanship, and care for the environment combine, creating products to enhance the home.

We create with the mindset of - use what you have - to craft art that is also practical.

The soft side of home decor: the story of fabric baskets
Years of acquiring fabrics for home decor, upholstery, slipcovers, curtains, and theater costumes left an abundance of left over fabric.

Annette discovered their purpose. She cut them into strips, knotted them with care, and they became beautiful, long-lasting baskets.
